Our family has been in the publication business for over 30 years and we are very excited to bring a magazine that personifes “hometown living at its best” to you. My wife, Heather, is from West Texas and has previously worked here in the oil and gas industry – so we know frsthand what a special place this is to call home.

Midland Living Magazine is a semi-annual publication with winter and summer editions. Our pages are dedicated to the people, places, and things that make Midland such a wonderful place to live. Midland offers everything that a “big city” does, culture, cuisine, and society, with the southern charm of a distinguished West Texas town. On the cover, “My Friend Emily” displays gorgeous pictures from resident photographers of local hometown weddings. Wedding season is almost upon us and what a fun time of year it is! “Memories of Hotel Scharbauer,” the once beautiful landmark, will be a blast from the past for many lifelong Midlanders.

In this premier edition native, Cindi Mladenka, our social scene writer has covered many fun events throughout town that will be seen in the “Hometown Happenings” section. You will see familiar faces, maybe even your own, at various social scenes – please also feel free to submit your organization’s events to us to be featured as well! Whether you are new in town or never left, we hope you are able to learn something you did not know about this great city.
