A live and silent auction helped to raise approximately $33,000 that will be spent directly on the animals and maintenance of the facility. Around 120 guests attended this year’s frst event. The ‘Yappy Hour’ Committee included Joanie Holt, Lyn Ford, Marion Goudeau, Suzanne Melchiorre, Dolores McCall, and Barbara French. The Lone Star Sanctuary Board of Directors is Dolores McCall, President, Barbara French, Secretary/Treasurer, Kirk French, Cheryl Bains, and Mary Ann Snow. A special thanks goes to all the underwriters, vendors and donors that
helped to make the frst annual ‘Yappy Hour’ so successful.
