The National Project, Child Abuse Prevention, is supported by Wayne County residents who become involved, join, and serve as volunteer members. Local community projects include distributing information about Shaken Baby Syndrome to educate parents and caregivers. Blue ribbons, the national symbol for child abuse prevention, are distributed to raise funds and create greater public awareness of the problem. Exchange is known for distributing literature that will teach positive and effective child-rearing skills. The Truth:

What a wonderful time to be part of the Exchange! In a strong desire to learn more about Past Exchange Leaders Who’s Who, 2011 President Harris of the Wayne County Jesup Exchange takes a look at the historical information and interviews past presidents in Wayne County regarding their reasons behind being a member and their most memorable event as president.
The Good: Countless Accounts are heard of real, life-altering changes for the good as a result of being a member of the Exchange Club. Experience rings the words that are consistent among past presidents, the people are wonderful, and the events are fun as we love to make a difference for the youth in our community!
The history of the Wayne County Exchange Club dates back to 1999 when a group of local individuals who had a desire to serve their community began meeting for lunch at Sybil’s Family Restaurant. In the beginning, there were just a few individuals who had a vision to start a local Chapter of the Exchange.
