In 2007, Curtis Farrar retired and changed to “of counsel” status with the frm and enjoys his retirement with his wife, Annie. He left the day-to-day operation of the practice in the capable hands of Kirk Farrar, Joey Hennesy, Drew Tanner, and Matt Hennesy. The frm became known as Farrar, Hennesy & Tanner, LLC. Kirk says, “We are diligent in treating people with respect. In 1981, at the
age of 68, colon cancer took him away from his family and friends. His wife, Mamie, went on to live until she was 89. As Mamie wrote in the refections she compiled for her family, “There is no one that could ever fll the place Arthur left vacant as he was a unique and caring individual with a great sense of humor.” She was right. No one could take his place but what he left behind, his legacy and mark on this world, still shows through the lives of his children and grandchildren. That is exactly what Arthur Farrar would like to know he achieved. CCM
