Lisa: “Yes, events like this tend to develop a life of their own, which is what you want, after breathing life into it. The things that people did to help make it happen also indicated it was growing into an awesome event. I can’t begin to tell you how many phone calls, emails, and people that walked up to me at the event, have told me what a great event Blues Fest was.”

ML: What do you see in the future for Tall City Blues Fest? What is your dream or goal?

Ronn: “Hopefully, this will develop into a signature event for the area. One that people naturally think about when they think of Midland. We want this to become a ‘don't miss’ event that people plan their summer vacation around.”

Lisa: “I would like to see this as an event that puts Midland ‘on the map’ for music festivals. I would like Midland to be known as the ‘home of a fabulous Blues music festival that draws people in from all over the world’. In addition, the economic impact that the thousands of people attending would make on Midland, would also make an impact on all that Midland could do!”  MLM
