opportunity to visit and see for yourself. A word of caution: What you will fnd may make you feel a bit connected, trusted, and valued. Don’t worry—once upon a time ago, I was invited to attend the Wayne County Exchange Club, and it makes me feel that same way too. The Difference:

The Exchange is different from other civic organizations in that the Exchange is a service organization. The club actually supports other civic organizations’ missions while working to accomplishing their own specifc goals. The Exchange Club allows one the opportunity to feel good while stimulating his or her mind, sharing laughter with friends, exchanging new business information and working together at contributing essential elements to the community.

2011 Marks 100 years of Service for the National Exchange Club.

The National Exchange Club is a successful service organization with 700 clubs and more than 21,000 members throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

The theme common to all Exchange Clubs are programs of service. The Exchange is an all-volunteer, national service organization for men and women who want to serve their community, develop additional leadership skills and enjoy new friendships with common bonds.

The organization’s mission is Child Abuse Prevention; there are activities to include education and positive parenting initiatives with the Believe in the Blue Ribbon Project. April is National Child Abuse
