Judy Beaver: Judy is married to Alan Beaver; the couple has two sons, Nicholas and Garrett. She is a 20-year educator and is the Work Based Learning and Dual Enrollment Coordinator for Wayne County High School. Judy has been a member of the Exchange Club over nine years. She has volunteered with events to include the Mud Bog, Relay for Life, and Shop with a Cop. Judy heads up the Student of the Month Program as an educator, and as a representative of Wayne County High School, she makes presentations to the members of Exchange regarding the accomplishments of the student. Judy says she has witnessed the Exchange give thousands of dollars in scholarships to Wayne County High Students. On a monthly basis, the Student of the Month is recognized for their academic achievement, citizenship, and work in the community; they receive a cash award and can compete for year-end scholarship.
Leighanne Hersey (President Elect) works with President Harris to seek presenters of interesting and often enlightening subjects for valuable and memorable programs each week. A diverse array of topics include Science, Arts and Entertainment, Education, Dentistry, Medicine, Civic Groups, Large and Small businesses, Farming, Extension Agency, Law Enforcement and other First Responders, Nonproft agencies, local services, City and
County Leaders in the Community and State Offcials, to name but a few. Past Exchangites of the Year include Jodie Metz, Renee Dixon, Pam Leggett, Shaun O’Quinn, Cathy Snow, Antonia Harris, Denise Pipe, Matt Hubbard, and Katy Wilder. These are individuals who have gone above and beyond making great sacrifces in the name of Exchange and worked excessively hard at getting projects completed throughout the year. WCM
