I love to be a part of “the laugher; it is contagious and it is almost detoxifying.” It is an immune booster. There always seems to be some playful banter. Stress-related issues seem to vanish; perhaps it is because of the power of the opening prayer because prayer does seem to help reorganize and purify one’s spirit.

In addition, it is rewarding to discover kind-hearted members who enjoy projects designed to address urgent needs of the community.

In Exchange, members gather new information from one another and the program to better themselves. Exchangites stay interested, sharing ideas, options regarding business, promoting other organizations, and giving helpful suggestions regarding family activities and events.

As a result of our fundraising efforts, we witness hard-working students happy to receive awards and recognition every month at the Wayne County Exchange;

these awards teach students that hard work, achievements and good grades literally pay off.

Children learn through positive mentors within the Exchange that it is important to be involved, and the best you can be often means receiving the best that the community has to offer. There is a sense of pride and satisfaction felt between the members of the club knowing that because of the time, energy, fundraising events, planned giving efforts shared, the lives of children are made better, and the results and the memories last a lifetime.
